I was promoted to oversee day-to-day IT operations, technology implementation / maintenance activities, and software development for global $2.5 billion aluminum wheel manufacturer. I currently supervise and train a global team of 10 direct reports. My overall responsibilities include service performance / delivery, application development, compliance, security, vendor relations, IT projects and budgets. I also monitor a $2.4 million capital and expense budget. Selected Highlights☑ I successfully directed a project to upgrade Polycom hardware-based RMX (MCU) to Polycom UC Infrastructure that included integrating web-based participants and disaster recovery failover functions to a Czech data center.☑ Was able to develop and deliver a $500,000+ project to evaluate, design, and implement CommVault Disk-Based Backup and Disaster Recovery Solution across 22 locations worldwide.☑ My successes included migrating a data center storage area network to a more progressive storage solution based on Dell Compellent.☑ I led a technical team in implementing two-factor authentication and disk-based data encryption on 500 computers containing secret / confidential data.☑ Spent time researching, evaluating, and selecting new cloud-based video conference solution, a firewall / security platform, and a global file server service using hybrid on-premise / cloud storage. ☑ I worked closely with Zoom Developers to create interop room support that allowed Polycom video conference units to integrate scheduled calendars with video endpoints.

I was selected to lead all system / technology aspects of integrating two companies including email services, Active Directory, and US data center operations. I supervised five direct reports and three indirect reports supporting all maintenance, administration, and uptime of critical application systems. My responsibilities included new system implementations, projects, technology roadmaps, vendor relations, management reporting, and incident / problem solution.Selected Highlights☑ I was promoted to oversee operations for company’s largest data center in the US housing approximately 250 virtual servers supporting average workload of more than 3,000 users. ☑ I led successful negotiations to secure company’s 1st Microsoft Enterprise contract agreement valued at $2.1 million.☑ I achieved $10+ million in annual cost savings by serving as part of an IT project management team responsible for renegotiating all IT contracts.☑ I championed the design and deployment of new storage area network solutions based on ISCSI technology.☑ In addition, I built and led team in migrating a US data center from Northville, Michigan to a Co-Lo facility at Online Tech LLC AA2 data center, migration / integration of three separate email systems / seven domains, and four Active Directory domains.☑ I planned and coordinated the launch of Riverbed WAN Acceleration appliances across all 22 company locations and the first design and deployment of SIP-based PBX solutions at five locations.☑ Also, took the initiative to upgrade all company locations from Cisco SD-based video conference equipment to Polycom HDX video conference systems.

I was promoted to lead a technical team as part of a newly formed group within IT that focused on manufacturing systems (MES, ERP and EDI). I oversaw five indirect reports and all IT divesture activities. Selected Highlights☑ I was able to coordinate a $600,000 investment and project team to integrate service-oriented architecture practices across company development teams.☑ Took on a leadership role to successfully launch an Infor Trans4m ERP system integrated within an Oracle Financials System at five locations.☑ I also spearheaded a project team to integrate JD-Edwards/Infor Trans4m with SAP Financials across 12 locations.

I was chosen to manage IT operations for company’s Wabash Indiana manufacturing facility where I served as main Global Network Manager for Powertrain and Suspension divisions and a Global Project Lead for a Y2K remediation project supporting 18 locations. In addition, I played key role on a transition team to integrate network, email services, active directory, payroll services, etc. into operations. I also supervised two direct / indirect reports.

Wabash Indiana

I oversaw all IT Operations at the Wabash Indiana manufacturing facility where I was accountable for implementing a global wide area network integrating all subsidiaries of CMI-International, Inc. and A-CMI (Joint Venture of Alcoa and CMI-International).Selected Highlights☑ I was selected to implement company’s first ERP system, TCP/IP – IPX-based Wide Area Network (Frame Relay), and a corporate wide email platform cc:MAIL across 12 company locations.☑ Spent time working with CMI-Competitive Solutions to develop and deploy a scrap management system, maintenance supply / tool crib management system, and EDI/file communications platform.☑ Took initiative to lead a project to migrate company locations from Novell Netware File Services to Windows NT File Servers.

I led daily IT operations supporting small businesses throughout Central and Southern half of Indiana. I led efforts to deploy several LANtastic and Novell Netware networks and POS software based on PC technology. In addition, I oversaw a software development team to develop on-premise realty software to automate listings from regional MLS system.
