I reside in the Centre of Advanced Systems Engineering at the faculty of Computing, engineering and the built environment. Over the years I have been part of many exciting changes at the university, some of which I have been instrumentally involved in steering and very much enjoys seeing these exciting changes come to fruition.I look after all laboratories in the Electronics, Robotics & Engineering department. I assist teaching in these labs and teach on the common first and foundation year modules. I also provide technical support to all students on those courses. I am the centres health and safety coordinator and am also IOSH trained.Over the years I have organised our yearly robotics competition, Techfest. Techfest is an umbrella name for what was UK Micromouse and see competitors from around the world converge at BCU to race micromice against each other.

I run and maintain the laboratories in the Electronic engineering department. I support other academic staff in their teaching and support a group of some 400 students.
