Communications And Campaigns Manager
Sheffield, United Kingdom
As a key member of Good Things Foundation’s Communications and External Affairs Team, I lead high profile communications campaigns to support people to improve their digital skills and benefit from improved access to digital technology, whether through increased opportunities or by reducing social inequality. This involves developing multichannel communications strategies, including for paid and organic digital campaigns, stakeholder engagement, PR and out-of-home advertising. Development of these campaigns is research-led, ensuring we're learning from previous successes and failures, and all available analytics. Campaign delivery is agile, allowing us to respond quickly to feedback and constantly drive towards maximum reach and impact. My role includes managing Get Online Week, the UK's leading digital skills campaign. As a communications expert, I also provide advice to project leads on how communications can support the delivery of projects. Working with external partners including a range of high profile public, private and third-sector organisations, I lead on the delivery of joint communications activities, liaising with partners at senior levels, representing the organisation. I also create a range of compelling written and visual content, including video content, to help Good Things Foundation to reach our audiences and effectively tell our story. Additionally,I line-manage our Communications Officer, ensuring they can provide wide-ranging support to whole Communications Team while enabling them to develop their own skills and confidence so they're able to give increasingly complex and effective advice, as well as prepare for progression in their own career.I am proud to bring my experience and creativity to the role, helping to shape Good Things Foundation's marketing and communications strategy and activities to ensure we are having the maximum impact - embracing new technologies and thinking creatively about how we can reach our audiences.
