A vastly experienced manager with 20 years' service in the NHS and other sectors. I have recently accepted an offer for a permanent role of Senior Project Manager within the SWAG Cancer Alliance (covering Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon and Gloucestershire). Prior to that I offered a year's maternity cover on the national cancer programme supporting Faster Diagnosis in cancer across England including key pathways in prostate, colo-rectal, skin and breast cancer. My new role will provide regional leadership and support across cancer services, care pathways and the patient experience.I have also recently completed an ILM Level 4 course in Project ManagementSince early 2020, I supported the national response to the Covid pandemic at NHS England leading on death notifications and outbreaks and supporting functions within the National Incident Co-ordination Centre now the National Operations Centre.Since 2005 I have developed and led on clinical policy development and implementation in the Central Southern area mainly leading for Hampshire's population of 1.9 million. Previous roles led on governance in the charity sector, higher education and in health commissioning organisations.
