Led technology wide initiative to transform our people, tools, processes and culture to leverage microservices, CI/CD, test automation, and instill a DevOps and Agile mindset into teams to deliver our products and services faster and with higher quality.Built an engineering organization focused on providing industry leading products and capabilities for software development, deployment and SDLC risk management.Developed strategy, product, and servicing for a single inner-sourced software delivery pipeline. Enabling tech wide adoption of the One Pipeline.Developed and led a change and communication strategy to engage and inform over 8000 engineers on this journey. Led empathy interviews and established a constant feedback loop with the community.

New to this business line, it was readily apparent that they were struggling to respond to business demands with manual processes and legacy systems.I set a multi-year roadmap for overhauling technology and processes in source to pay value stream, and focused on contract compliance and a seamless user experience across procurement.To achieve this, I led the S2P value stream transformation from product selection, program governance and sequencing, system and user testing, and global program implementation across 10K suppliers, 60K users, and five countries.In addition to establishing the architecture and approach for the integration of new cloud based procurement solutions with legacy ERP, we developed a cloud-based third party risk management solution.In this role, I actively engaged in campus recruiting and served as a COF liaison with the University of Virginia.

I led an organization, operation and legacy technology transformation via a roadmap and insourcing with 4X associate growth that revamped and upgraded technology, cloud and mobile solutions in the face of growing regulatory scrutiny and oversight.New to Risk and Compliance, I laid out a $50M technology roadmap to upgrade a legacy AML strategy, integrate KYC data, provide real-time Customer Risk Ratings, while incorporating API, Big Data (Hadoop), Open Source technology and APIs.I was selected to represent IT on a 90-day leadership taskforce challenged with overhauling the long, drawn out new product/service development process which was hindering innovation.A huge supporter of cloud solutions, we rolled out the company’s first use of cloud-based technology that reduced an 18-month process to just seven days. The process was so successful it has been emulated ever since as the gold standard for the rapid launch of multiple applications.ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS:* Advanced mobile agenda and delivered the company’s first internal corporate mobile application.* Led Agile transformation and established an AML Agile Release train for consistent delivery.

I led the end-to-end implementation of multiple, complex multimillion-dollar projects and programs that supported the company during its transformational journey from a credit card company into a banking enterprise.These years were marked by astronomical growth and acquisition – including 100X growth in branches, 50X applications growth, 400X expansion of distributed resources, 12X data center and 3.5X site expansion and a 2X growth in sheer number of associates.To support this rapid growth, my team managed an aggressive timeline of one to two $10M-$15M programs annually while concurrently juggling throughout post-acquisition integrations, software and ERP upgrades.To staff the below-listed projects, among others, I recruited, hired and retained top talent via talent management forums, campus recruiting, formal and cross-trainings:☑ GLOBAL SOURCING: Saved $35M via leadership throughout company-wide sourcing initiative—company’s largest to date.☑ AGILE TRANSFORMATION: Managed training and development of corporate tech's 400 FTE.☑ VIRTUALIZATION: Led virtualization effort of over 150 servers across Finance.☑ GLUE: Led development effort to reengineer enterprise chart of accounts.☑ REPLATFORMING: Gained 10% memory and 30% CPU savings via project that migrated data to servers with capacity.☑ HR PAYROLL: Led architecture and development to upgrade enterprise’s HR and insource Payroll.☑ DOMAIN TARGET ARCHITECTURE: Established target architecture across Risk, Finance, and HR domains.☑ FINANCE BPO: Led technology implementation to enable secure, reliable, and scalable finance business process outsourcing to India.

I led a team of 10 associate and contractor DBAs that ensured the seamless performance of database platforms., while continuing to expand PeopleSoft user functionality while replacing legacy HR and ERP systems.This role taught me that I had a knack for leading people, while also allowing me to grow my technical skills and reputation as an Oracle and PeopleSoft SME.

I was brought on to contribute to the company’s global ERP implementation the largest project ever undertaken at the time.In this role, I implemented patches, executed migrations, developed shell scripts, PeopleCode and SQL and planned rollouts to replace its legacy system.I took on additional administrative responsibilities for databases, web and application servers that contributed to Finance and HR functionality beyond anything these groups had previously experienced.
