The Inflight Training & Standards Supervisor is responsible to work under the direction of the Manager, Cabin Safety in the development of effective operating procedures for the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM) and the development of Inflight training programs in compliance with the aviation regulatory framework. The Inflight Training and Standards Supervisor leads the training department to ensure training is conducted as planned by the Manager, Cabin Safety ensuring that the flight attendant competencies are maintained.Primary Job Function:- Work with stakeholders, through the document control process, to develop, prepare and implement revisions to the FAM - Write Inflight communications regarding standards and procedures - Design, document and update key cabin safety processes - Assess, identify and plan the requirement for the development or amendment of the Inflight suite of regulated programs - Establish policies and procedures to ensure consistency of Inflight training programs - Create yearly training forecast - Oversee the planning, logistics and implementation of the training calendar - Create, administer and maintain the Instructor Development Program - Lead and mentor the instructional team ensuring qualifications are obtained/maintained and evaluate instructor performance - Ensure accuracy of controlled documents and systems by performing audits and inspections of training programs, training facilities, aircraft, and manual holders - Facilitate training programs, as required: and - Obtain and maintain flight attendant qualificationsSecondary Job Functions:- Such other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time. - Lead, coordinate and participate in various Inflight projects and initiatives - Represent Inflight at meetings and develop strong relationships to support initiatives throughout the company; and - In their absence, act as the delegate for the Manager, Cabin Safety
