Plant Manager
CurrentResponsible for day to day operations of a high volume manufacturing plant focusing on machining complex components for automotive, medical, appliance, marine, and construction industries. Lead all production and support personnel including training, evaluating, hiring, firing, setting wages, and conflict resolution. Purchase all MRO items required for manufacturing while maintaining pre set budget requirements. Schedule production personnel and equipment to meet schedule demands. Engineer job layouts, cycle times, tool schedules, and adapt to changes in customer needs. Maintain and troubleshoot plant production and support equipment mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Implement, train, and monitor company safety procedures and policies. Conduct corrective action measures when required. Work closely with operations management and quality assurance managers to ensure compliance while maintaining a focus on delivering on time to customers.
