As CEO, Chris shaped Spark into one of AdAge’s Agency’s to Watch. His leadership and brand building know-how created real results for both clients and the agency. Chris led the transformation of Spark SMG from a small, capable media agency – into the third power player in the SMG portfolio. With his guidance, Spark evolved from a boutique player into an innovative media shop. Chris’s leadership, energy, and strategic intellect improved Spark’s perception across the industry and led to a peerless record of new business wins, organic growth, and awards.

As chief operating officer, Chris was responsible for managing agency operational efficiencies and led Starcom USA’s business development activities. In this role, he pursued and forged new client partnerships, but also grew and added new dimensions to existing ones. Chris was also active in the rollout of Starcom’s unique and proprietary approach to client service. The ‘Space for Ideas’ approach uses a variety of techniques supported by proprietary applications to provide clients with fresh ideas and inspired executions that create meaningful experiences for people. Space for Ideas helped Starcom secure business from Darden Restaurants, Best Buy, Harley-Davidson and Mars/Wrigley in 2010.Chris was also charged with providing the marketplace with a unified, non-siloed approach to the development and execution of communications plans. Along with his activation responsibilities, Boothe had oversight of a number of client accounts, including Bank of America, Allstate, U.S. Cellular, DeVry University, Hanesbrands, Jim Beam, Best Buy and beyond.
