The desire to take things apart, customize them and make them my own is what first led me to becoming a Journeyman Machinist.The first 15 years of my career in manufacturing gave me expertise in manufacturing, steel, heat treatment and forging, which has led me to value safety, quality, and lean principles.Along the way I've used my organizational skills to implement VMI, manage diverse teams, and lead numerous projects. A rewarding part of my job is to improve, fix, and enable customers to achieve their goals. To me, a continuous improvement mindset is a valuable asset in the maintenance and operations realm. I'm also an advocate for an effective CMMS system, as they're valuable not just as a work management tool, but as a powerful way to communicate with teams and stakeholders.
