The mission of the Employment and Training Administration is to contribute to the more efficient functioning of the U.S. labor market by providing high-quality job training, employment, labor market information, and income maintenance services primarily through state and local workforce development systems. Job Corps helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.

Locally administer programs to assist the Department of Labor meet the strategic objectives for the Veterans' Employment and Training Service: prepare America's veterans, service members and their spouses for meaningful careers; provide them with employment resources and expertise; protect their employment rights; and promote their employment opportunities.

Served in support of the Massachusetts State Approving Agency (SAA), under contract by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Benefit Administration (VBA).
