• With minimal direction and responsible for 9 direct reports, manage the operations of MRB, RMA, Internal Audit(AS9100, ANSI S20.20), Receiving Inspection and Final Audit for 8 production areas. • Manage and execute day to day QA involvement at and above my level without need of assistance or direction fulfilling obligations and assignments for the Director with full authority in the Directors’ absence. • Change agent driving the development of initiatives to accelerate continuous improvement through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools. • Remove barriers and influence upper level management to support and pursue measurable process performance improvement. • Develop methods and procedures for robust analysis of quality data to allow for measurement and monitoring of company manufacturing and transactional processes. • Mentor company personnel in LSS methodology to create a continuous improvement mindset.

Reported to the Director of Mission Success and Quality Assurance as a Line of Business (LoB) full time Lean Sigma Black Belt. My primary responsibilities were to work with other Mission Success personnel to outline and implement LoB initiatives’ and programs to improve over all LoB operations and efficiencies, acting as the Lean Six Sigma advocate, assisting departments and programs with process improvement projects, initiatives and studies. Typical projects revolved around operations production and logistic issues, dealing with vendors, engineering and customers with both manufacturing and transactional issues. Other duties included performing quality reviews, supplier quality audits, assisting with AS 9100 audits and CMMI assessments, conducting training in the use and application of Lean Sigma tools, analyzing production test logs and reviewing and updating statistical quality standards.
