Writes, edits and upholds integrity of the award-winning INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) newsletter, a monthly print and digital publication that informs senior partners and C-Suite executives of major developments and emerging issues within the profession and the larger business community. Target audience is leaders of top 400 CPA firms by net revenue. Works remotely.• Interviews managing partners, HR leaders, finance chiefs, marketers, consultants and subject matter experts and writes articles on a wide range of topics, such as new business models and service lines, technology disruptors, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, client satisfaction, culture, leadership and diversity. • Uses data from IPA’s annual national practice management survey of more than 500 firms – the most comprehensive in the profession – and perspectives from accounting leaders to offer practical suggestions to improve firm operations.• Writes or edits communications across all channels (surveys and reports, e-newsletters, blogs, press releases, marketing and mission materials, website content). Maintains editorial voice and upholds consistent standards using AP and IPA Stylebooks.

• Develops and produces 12-16 webinars a year on the latest marketing trends and tools, effective marketing methods and growth strategies as a member and former chair of the Association for Accounting Marketing’s (AAM) Virtual Education Committee. Uses extensive contacts within the profession to identify speakers, assists in developing content and moderates panel discussions.• Supervised administration, judging and selection of AAM’s annual Marketer of the Year, the most prestigious award in the accounting marketing profession. Represented IPA at annual conference, presented award, interviewed marketing leaders at keynote session and served as onsite liaison and communications lead. 2014-2020.

Writes and/or edits press releases, marketing collateral and social media content. Current and former clients: Ramaker Communications, Rhythm & Roots Festival, Coast Guard House restaurant, Wakefield Village Association, South County Museum.

• Was responsible for copy editing all Association of Government Accountants (AGA) publications, including TOPICS, The Journal of Government Financial Management, AGA Today, AGA's website, and all other AGA publications.• Reported and wrote articles as assigned for TOPICS and AGA Today.• Served as staff liaison to the Chapter Communicators Network.• Oversaw the annual chapter newsletter editor contest.

Generated story ideas, conducted interviews and wrote newsletter articles, white papers, website content, and columns for national presidents and other leaders. Edited all peer-reviewed Journal articles.
