    As lead software developer I have been responsible for transitioning the team from a Python/Blender/WebGL application to a Unity 3D solution. My involvement has overseen the development of the database, data, business, and web service layers of the Athgo server, as well as implementing service requests, Client/Server networking, and presentation in the application layer. Residing mainly in the presentation infrastructure I've been able to play with procedural mesh generation and point-cloud data: two subjects that are especially fun and let me utilize my maths ability. Additionally, I have been responsible for translating documentation written by the product owner into a series of cohesive user-stories.As lead I have been responsible for planning the schedules of my colleagues and managing priorities to ensure work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. Being lead has also provided me with an opportunity to teach programming advice; a role I have found myself to greatly enjoy.

    My role on the Production Technologies team at MPC covers a wide variety of responsibilities. As one of a minority of specialist staff with the knowledge to bridge workflows between departments, I act as both a developer and a liaison between Software and the artists. Much of my time is spent extending MPC’s pipeline; a vast collection of software that connects database, web, assets, users and more. My contributions include significant speed/stability improvements, automated workflows (caching, asset hierarchies) and writing MPCs proprietary plugin manager for Autodesk Maya. Currently I am developing new communication technologies and an RV plugin for reviewing dailies. All work spans multiple, international sites, and has been utilized on many major motion pictures and countless commercials.
