Responsible for examining and reviewing documents and speaking with applicants for system recommended SBA loan applications. Processed in excess of 13,000 loan applications prior to being transferred to DCMS 2.0 to determine eligibility for applicants who suffered damage from Wind, Hail, Hurricane, and Fire natural disasters. Communicated rules and regulations of the SBA so that the applicants could make an informed decision on wether or not to move forward with a given loan.Completed all duties related to DCMS 2.0 and was transferred to loan application Reconsiderations for the system recommended files. Collaborated with team members to reach bipartisan decisions. Files that did not make it through Reconsideration were then moved to the Appeals and Congressional Appeals if the applicant chose to pursue this appeal option.Other assignments I was responsible for within my term with the SBA included Appeals, Congressional Appeals, and confirming all information within a given application was accurate and complete. Duties and responsibilities while assigned to Appeals involved reviewing all information provided from the applicant to determine if there were any obvious inconsistencies. As necessary, applicants Lawyers and/or Accountants would call at the request of the applicant and I would provide them with their options for moving forward. I provided documents that outlined loan terms and conditions that lawyers used to provide to the bankruptcy court. I addressed loan Declines and Approvals and delivered the news through a call to the applicant.
