•Perform varied of secretarial duties to assist administrators, counselors, teachers, parents, and students; coordinate flow of communications to ensure excellent customer service.•Perform public relations and communication service for middle school personnel; receive, screen and route telephone calls; take and relay message as suitable•Receive visitors, such as district personnel, staff and the public and provide information of direct to appropriate staff•Exercise independent judgment in resolving a variety of issues related to student academic progress•Provide technical information and assistance on Parent Portal, policies and procedures.•Create, update, and maintain a school student database, writing queries and generating a variety of reports, lists, labels and other related items according to established schedules and procedures•Enter a variety of student demographic data, performing computer systems backup according to established procedures•Monitor students school of attendance according to established guidelines and advise appropriate personnel with database reports•Support school site with the implementation of new operating software (e.g. parent portal, teacher portal, Aeries)
