I am a degree educated IT professional with 25 years experience in the industry. My background is in Mobile (iOS) and .NET Software development. I have written iOS applications in Objective-C for the Apple iPad/iPhone, .NET Applications for Windows / Windows Mobile, ASP.NET WebApi and .NET Core RESTful Web Services for backend data storage in SQL server using C# and Entity Framework. I have also developed front-ends using Javascript frameworks using the MVVM pattern, developing the Full-Stack on various projects.I started out in Windows desktop build/installation, scripting and hardware/software support, moving on to server builds (inc. Linux) and Network/Server Administration, then into software development. I have acquired very wide variety of skills which I have successfully applied to resolve IT issues and increase efficiency and productivity. I have used my range of software design and development skills to complete many projects both for both internal and external clients. I consider myself as a strategic and creative individual who likes to look at the big picture.Having an Electronic Engineering degree and maintaining a keen interest I have always had various electronics projects on the go in spare time, developing C/C++ code for embedded systems.
