Started @ Boeing June 24, 1974 as an Illustrator, moved to Engineering as a Graphic Illustrator in 1975 drawing all of the instrumentation in the 747 Flight Deck, helped design and detail the drawings for the Presidents Plane. Moved to the hourly ranks on 2/22/1978 as a Quality Assurance Inspector. Worked exclusively on the Kings A/P inspected all of the interior parts and materials going into the A/P. Moved to the Factory working as an interior inspector on the 747 on the 3 day cycle then moved to Functional Test Inspection and worked there in Final Assembly verifying the functioning of the fully assembled airplane prior to flight and set up the automated functional test program, ATE. Moved to the 767 Program in Functional Test for the remaining years and was the Team Lead on the Tanker.
