Starting in a clinical environment as a Radiation Therapist, I soon realised that I had a passion for business, product innovation and service development. I initially worked for Shimadzu Medical Systems as a product specialist and in sales. After completing an MBA I then worked in a range of Business/Service Development/Marketing roles for organisations including Healthscope, Jewish Care and Molecular Plant Breeding. I also had the opportunity to work as a Franchise Development Manager. Probably the highlight of this period was being involved with the initiation of a new prototype Mobile X-Ray machine at Shimadzu that ultimately was commercialised and sold internationally.
