As a Software Engineer, I designed and developed REST APIs and backend services using the Node.js platform with an emphasis on full-stack development practices. In one of my later projects, I worked on a small Agile scrum team, which created an API Gateway microservice. The stack included Docker Containers running NGINX (Openresty), Node.js, Java, Consul for service discovery, and Jenkins for build management.(Intralinks was acquired by Synchronoss, thereby slightly changing the scope and nature of my role at Intralinks prior to the acquisition, which I've described above)

Many of my projects entailed working on an Agile scrum team and required cross-functional communication with Product Delivery, Product Management, Quality Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Network Engineering. In this role, I designed and developed REST APIs using the Node.js platform. First by building an OAuth2 REST API as a primary authentication mechanism, and later building and integrating other APIs with backend services, such as file sharing and analytics.

In this role, I assisted in the design of the infrastructure of a REST API proxy layer and integrated it into the core SaaS product infrastructure. I implemented system-level and functional API health monitoring and alerting. I compiled reports on client and partner API activity for the Executive Leadership Team. I also provided direct support for client and partner API developers.

In this role, I assisted in the design of digital Audio-Over-Ethernet systems, modeled power supply circuits, and tested/debugged various hardware elements. In doing so, I acquired a strong knowledge-base in Ethernet Audio-Video-Bridging (AVB) standards.

In my role as a Systems Engineering Intern, I built environments for proprietary performance and capacity planning software on remote servers. In the process, I developed UNIX shell scripts to enhance the capacity alert system for platform operation. Lastly, I composed visual diagrams for the organization of the entire server inventory by server functionality.
