I have recently developed and designed key participation projects with Hockey WA, from event design to event delivery and post event analysis. I was the project manager for Hockey WA’s first Pride Match, held in June. It was my responsibility to engage key stakeholders to co-design the project, develop the concept of the day, manage the budget, all the way to marketing design, on the day event delivery and post-event analysis. This was a highly successful event with strong post event feedback and analysis completed, showing a more engaged Pride Community with Hockey in WA. I have also been currently developing Blind Hockey, in conjunction with Blind Sports WA. This is a new sport for the Blind and Vision Impaired community in WA. I have sourced the funding, developed the relationship with Blind Sports WA, co-designed the event and sourced equipment for the events. In my role at Tennis West, the South West league was developed from systematic analysis from numerous stakeholders including, players, parents, coaches and clubs in the South West. The identified gap was a junior tennis league in the South West, encompassing numerous clubs in the region playing multiple times over a two-month period.In my current role at Hockey WA, one of my proudest moments in project development thus far has been successfully melding Hockey WA’s relationship with Perth Pythons, who are an inclusive LGBTIQ hockey club. Through building rapport with the President Reid, and committee members, we have collaborated to run Hockey WA’s first Pride Match, held in June 2022. One of the keys to success of this event was the whole team effort in delivering the event. Strategically the biggest opportunity for growth in sport is in the grassroots and schools in particular. I have developed and maintained many relationships with schools as the key driver and manager of the sporting school’s portfolio for Hockey WA. Currently we have a growth of 40.5% year to date from 2021, with an increase in over 2,200 participants in hockey in 2022. Contributing factors have been development of extra resources and video content for teachers, constant communication and linking the hockey WA program to the state curriculum.In February 2016 I started my MBA-Sports Management through Torrens University, completing it in May 2019. As part of my MBA, I completed an immersive unit in Madrid in May 2018 where we were based at the biggest soccer club in the world, Real Madrid. .
