Preparing and delivering lessons on to a variety of students on varying subject.

Working with students in Cree communities in class and after school. Aiding in the development of math and science skills to help increase graduation rates.

Developing and delivering workshops and initiatives for the Climate Change Program as well as aiding in volunteer coordination.

As working on the Climate Change program I develop and present workshops on the subject of climate change for schools (grades primary- 12). I also help look at the larger picture of where the program is going and submit ideas for expansion. My responsibilities also include representing Clean Nova Scotia at workshops and conferences around the province.

My position required me to uphold the regulations laid out for residents by Student Services upon agreeing to live in one of Dalhousie's Residence. While upholding these regulations I would also attempt to form a community among those in students residing on the same floor as me. I would accomplish this by hold events such as dinners, lessons, informative sessions, and recreational outings.

I help develop programs and activities with regards to the fields of Science, Engineering, and Computer Science focused towards children ages 6-16 and later execute these activities in a camp setting. The main focus of Super Nova is to increase interest in the fields of science engineering and computer science especially among those traditionally underrepresented in these fields such as women and aboriginals.

As the Head Editor for EPSS student Journal "Green Perspectives" It was necessary for me to overlook all aspects of the journals development. In addition to performing the final editing, I was also responsible for all the advertising, distribution, liaising with the printer, budgeting, and managing a small group of editors.

As a youth facilitator for this program I would travel throughout Nova Scotia with youth conferences (labeled D250) and facilitate youth discussion and interests over various political topics of the day. The primary goal of this program was to bolster youth involvement in politics.
