Chris Daniel is an award-winning, NY Emmy Nominated Producer, Director, Editor & Writer. His extensive career spans major corporations, the U.S. Government, and international projects, producing diverse content from documentaries to entertainment. He's collaborated with corporate leaders, military officers, and entertainment professionals. Daniel is also the President of Converging Visions, a 501(c)(3).Daniel's notable works include “The WBGO Story,” a NY Emmy Nominated documentary film funded by the NJ Historical Commission. It spotlighted WBGO Founder, Bob Ottenhoff, and Mrs. Dorthaan Kirk. It premiered at NJPAC’s TD James Moody Jazz Festival and on NJPBS for Jazz Appreciation month.He co-created the award-winning PBS series "Pathway to Success" with John E. Harmon, Sr., Pres/CEO/Founder of the African American Chamber of Commerce of NJ. He directed and edited the Central Jersey Jazz Festival (a 5-camera virtual concert). Daniel produced & directed a series of dramatic training programs to help soldiers with PTSD (a cast of 30 professional actors). Other projects include; The West Point Story (Feat. Mr. Walter Cronkite); Life on Okinawa (USMC); The Spirit of Discovery (The National Science Center); The Ronald McDonald House fund raising promo; “Tuskegee NEXT Promo”, (They help at-risk youth earn a pilot’s license). Scripts & schedules he produced were published in a national Government Document showing examples of how to produce successful video programs. He has interviewed several top Jazz Artists including multi-Grammy winners, Christian McBride and DeFrancesco. He worked with the Studio Museum of Harlem on a Jazz/Literary series that included Amiri Baraka, Melvin Van Peebles, Randy Weston, Max Roach, Clyde Taylor & Virginia Hamilton. As an educator, he conducted his “Empowerment through Media Workshop” to teach video production and entrepreneurial workshops for the NJ Juvenile Justice Commission and various NY/NJ locations.Daniel independently produced “Kid to Kid: Staying Safe!” (Feat. Dr. Loretta Long-Susan from Sesame Street) and “Shotokan Karate Basics.” Personally, he is a Jazz aficionado and a 2nd degree black belt in Wado Ryu.
