Maintenance Engineer
CurrentProvide technical support to maintenance teams for a variety of physical assets, including assisting in planning, prioritization, provision of logistical and technical support for general maintenance work, and emergent work (e.g., breakdown and shutdowns).Develop and implement containment actions from asset health alert watch list as well as provide other technical input to asset health function as required (e.g., work management, systems, and processes).Support root cause analyses and conduct equipment failure analysis, implementing corrective actions as required.Review and develop asset tactics including asset diagnosis and recovery, reliability-facilitated asset tactics development, and asset tactics/spares reviews.Lead improvement projects centered around maintainability and provide input on design on projects.Participate in reliability facilitated asset tactics development, identify asset tactics that require review/improvement, and support implementation of strategy for executing asset tactics and maintenance strategies.Provide appropriate coaching, mentoring, and technical support to Equipment Maintenance.Review equipment issues and design specifications and provide recommendations on improvement changes.Support process implementation, embedded and supported in the business, e.g., Manage Physical Assets process.Responsible for maintenance executive standards/QA.Review daily KPIs relating to production-critical assets or systems.Manage site-based capital projects and interface with central sustaining capital project teams (where the Project Engineer position does not exist at that location).Govern data quality to enable loss analysis and loss accounting quality control.
