In my current role as an Associate Designer (formerly Innovation Specialist) at WorkSafe Victoria, I have been responsible for providing design support on a variety of projects, collaborating closely with other designers and people within the organisation.I have been accountable for assisting, and in some cases leading design research activities such as desktop research, ideation, one-on-one interviews with injured workers, employers, occupational rehab providers and subject matter experts, contextual inquiries with internal users, workshop design and facilitation, user testing of digital and non-digital artifacts, synthesis, insight generation, and persona creation.I have designed service blueprints, wireframes and prototypes for complex digital applications and user journeys and have worked closely with key stakeholders and the Executive Leadership Team to gain a deeper understanding of their needs and then communicate and present ideas, concepts and experiences that effectively fulfil those needs.

Whilst working as a freelancer for this web development business, I have provided design solutions to a wide range of clients. I have completed projects ranging from website and app design, branding, print design, publication design and layout, social media artwork and advertising and marketing collateral.

As the Lead UX/UI Designer at Ivy Street I oversaw digital design projects from solution design to delivery. Collaborating with fellow team members and clients to develop user personas, customer journey maps, site maps, wireframes and interactive prototypes before working closely with internal and external developers to turn these designs into fully functioning products. I also designed and built landing pages in WordPress, campaign splash pages in Unbounce and custom eDMs.Other responsibilities included art direction, pitching ideas and concepts to clients, project management and presenting internal workshops to help mentor and educate fellow team members.I was also the Innovation Lead, mentoring and nurturing teams to facilitate the ongoing development and innovation of products within Ivy Street while providing regular updates to the Leadership Team on their progress.

Prior to making the decision to shift into the digital space, I had extensive experience creating brands and have worked on a variety of projects ranging from print design, sales office fit-outs, signage, packaging, social media artwork and advertising material within the property industry.

Responsible for producing design solutions for branding, website and app design, social media and eDM marketing, book cover design, publication design and layout, typesetting and photo editing.Other responsibilities included client meetings and communication, art direction, pitching ideas and concepts, print production, prioritising work to meet deadlines and adhering to project budgets.

Responsible for providing design and production assistance to clients such as The Melbourne Vixens, AFL Victoria, Geelong Football Club, The Queenscliff Music Festival, VIS (Victorian Institute of Sport), Australian Masters Games and community organisations genU and Give Where You Live. I also initiated the redesign of both company produced publications, Business News and Ruby Magazine.

Integral part of their in-house creative team, responsible for designing company produced publications and for providing design and production assistance to the Brand Manager, Sales and Marketing teams.
