Chris is proud to be currently serving a culturally and linguistically rich population of students within the Boston Public Schools. Academic Year 2023-2024 is his eleventh year teaching in the classroom.Chris is a proponent of the notion that teaching is not merely an occupation- rather, it is one’s soul calling...a calling to a vocation that can make a lasting impact on kids for the rest of their lives. He delights in developing core units of study that focus on developing early numeracy acquisition, confidence with emerging literacy skills, and highly productive behaviors that sustain a joy for learning and cooperating within a complex world. Pedagogically, Chris’s method of practice is highly influenced by theoretical concepts such as the capacity for multiple intelligences, cultural components of development, social-emotional learning acquisition, and the many other nuances of developmental growth inherent in the first 6 years of life.
