I founded Lifebroker in 2003 with the premise of providing transparent comparison of life and income protection products. My passion and understanding of technology allowed us to cultivate an innovative IT driven company that pioneered online distribution of life insurance and income protection in Australia. Lifebroker was data driven, systems tracked.

Fundbroker was the pioneering Australian website offering discounted access to boutique and specialist investments. The site generated over $200m of placements into investment products ranging from Property Trusts, Hedge Funds, Capital Guaranteed Products, Guaranteed Pensions, IPO’s and Income Funds.The business was sold to Fairfax Media.

I created the first online platform for fee for service financial planning. I made the site just to test the waters and monitor how quickly consumer attitudes and comfort levels for digital interaction was changing. The site generated way more traffic and leads, and requests for financial plans than we could have anticipated. I sold the business to permit.
