When I first started, L&B was a small retailer with a handful of employees. Today they are their own empire with 50+ employees in multiple locations, and they have grown to be a formidable competitor in this niche of retail.Since I started, I have pretty much been the only technical person running web, IT, and software. My work has been integral in the company’s online presence, with a significant share of its revenue coming from the eCommerce websites I have developed. And as such, I have had to make all critical decisions regarding design, updates, security, migrations, software, architecture, and platforms.Things I have done:- Designed and developed all eCommerce websites - Modernized and customized the back and front-end making improvements to traffic, conversion rates, order size, and revenue- Migrated accounting, logistics, and inventory to a secure cloud-based ERP saving 35% in costs- Conducted heat map testing that revealed weakness, which helped the sites be mobile friendly with a 75% increase in mobile traffic and 140% increase in mobile revenues- Upgraded firewall, antivirus software, and security policies- Migrated all data from a Magento eCommerce to a BigCommerce platform which made a huge difference in sync efficiency and service fees- The new BigCommerce site (foreverbamboo.com) has exceeded expectations with a 225% increase in revenue

The infrastructure contained multiple ecosystems, and all data sent or received online was monitored and then sent to internal servers for additional processing. It also used AI to detect threats.This was an Agile project management environment, and I also mentored interns.A few projects I worked on:- Rewrote the entire codebase for the website and online customer portal- Developed frontend facing tools in C++ that integrated with the web portal- Conducted a full scale migration from a dated backent to a secure LAMP stack

Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and researchers across the globe, I developed websites and web applications for eCommerce, business, education, media, custom portals, and portfolio sites.
