All courses are fully compliant with all EASA and UK CAA regulations and form part of the cabin crew attestation, their licence to operate as cabin crew. The practical training can take place either at a swimming pool of your choice, local to your college, or at Sale Leisure Centre pool located in Sale, Trafford. This is a CAA and EASA requirement• Treading water whilst donning a lifejacket exercise • Life saving exercise in pairs using the extended tow lifesaving method • Discussion on the use of liferaft and slideraft ditching equipment on aircraft • Exercise on how to avoid injury when entering the water wearing an inflated lifejacket • Discussion/exercise on sea survival when not in a liferaft or slideraft • Students each boarding an inflated liferaft from the water using boarding ramps • Facilitation session whilst in the liferaft on the four principles of survival relating to sea survival• Demonstration of liferaft/slideraft survival kit equipmentUnfortunately, due to a lack of practical training facilities, I am no longer able to provide practical fire fighting training. I can, however, offer classroom based fire fighting theory training and the demonstration of all fire fighting equipment. This can take place at your college.
