Chris Goodall is the president of Goodall Company, located in Columbia, SC and focusing on real estate development and investment. He previously served as CEO of AFLAC Group Insurance in Columbia SC. Prior to AFLAC Group, he was the Chairman and CEO of Continental American Insurance Company (CAIC). His career began as as a partner in the Columbia based law firm Adams Herring and Stuart.In June of 2009, Chris and Paul Amos, president of AFLAC, put together the merger of CAIC and AFLAC to form AFLAC Group Insurance. Chris currently serves on the boards of Wofford College, Riverbanks Zoo (Chairman), Palmetto Lifeline, Country Club of Sapphire Valley, and Souper Bowl of Caring. Prior boards include Providence Hospital, Oliver Gospel Mission, Hammond School, and The SC School of Medicine Partnership Board.In May of 2013, Governor Haley appointed him to serve as a Commissioner on the SC State Housing Finance and Development Authority. He previously served as a commissioner on the ETV Commission.When not in Columbia, Chris spends his time with his wife in the mountains of Cashiers, NC.
