Directed and managed the oversight of over 300 claims, 50 clients and $50+ million in total experience in the construction line of business.

Responsible for the supervision and development of a claims unit of 4 adjusters and 2 claims assistants with a combined average of 600 claims and 13 clients. Additionally, assumed responsibility for managing the branch file room operation including 5 file clerks and approximately 3,000 physical files. Responsible to ensure the team met metrics related to reserves, large loss reporting, closing ratios and penalties while ensuring that we provided high levels of client and claimant satisfaction.

Managed nearly 200 indemnity claims for 3 school districts. Responsible for the successful management of very complex, largely litigated caseloads with two at-risk clients.

Managed 150 indemnity claims for school districts. Responsible for claimant contacts, provision of timely benefits, and completing resolution of in pro per claims. When litigated, responsible for providing direction to defense attorneys to bring cases to resolution. Also responsible for maintaining a strong client relationship as well as good relationships with claimants in an effort to reduce litigation and to bring claimant’s back to work.

Managed the medical-only claims for over 50 clients with an average intake of over 100 claims a month. Ensured accurate designation of claims at their onset to ensure there were no subrogation, disability, apportionment or contribution issues.

Responsible for providing claims support for 3-4 adjusters. Responsible for completing 2-point contacts, initial claims investigation, and setups for all clients assigned. Managed indemnity benefits for all clients assigned along with the management of medical-only claims.
