I serve as the lead fundraising manager. I am responsible for giving overall leadership and direction to our annual fundraising campaign, product sales, special events, capital projects, grants and foundation requests, as well as planned giving. At the end of the first six months in this position I raised a total of $1,319,761 in Friends of Scouting and Special Event donations. This exceeded the goal by $94,842. Secured a total of $512,066 in allocations from the local area United Way Agency, and secured $224,000 in donations from Foundations.

Provided leadership and management to a staff of four District Executives, eighteen Paraprofessionals and 4 District Assistants across the largest service area in the Council. During my tenure in this position, each District saw an increase in youth recruitment, new units, Friends of Scouting donations and project sales.Provided servant leadership to an area which serviced: -268 Scouting units -11,915 youth members -2,430 adult volunteers

I have experience in soliciting donations to increase the Council Endowment fund. I am responsible for the successful operations of the Councils Golf Tournament, which has resulted in the highest amount of funds raised by this event since its conception, which raised a total of $30,045 or a 21.3% increase over the previous year. I am also responsible for the fundraising of the Council Annual Shooting Stars Tournament which raised $150,545. I also created a new revenue stream that resulted in a total of $42,067 in new Friends of Scouting donations from previous non donors to the local Council. While in the position, I also served as the advisor to the Councils National Eagle Scout Association Committee, and the Councils Alumni Committee.Selected Tenure Highlights:- Gave Leadership to a Capital Campaign that raised over 26 million dollars.- Gave Leadership to secure a new Foundation gift totaling $200,000.- Created a new fundraising campaign that brought in over $42,067 in new donations.- Successfully oversaw the Council Golf Tournament and Sporting Clays Tournament.
