The contract was the largest in our company grossing over One Billion dollars over a seven year span and ExxonMobil Baytown was one of four sites in this circuit bundled contract. My role was hands on with all crafts, customers and day to day operations while stationed at the Baytown Refinery. The portfolio of this contract included Maintenance support and Soft Craft Services for the Baytown Refinery, Chemical Plant and the Baytown Olefins plant (BOP). • Managed the Baytown contract to the most profitable and successful section of a Billion dollar contract over the gulf coast. • Awarded XOM CONTRACTOR of the YEAR in the largest category (Contracts over 1 Million work hours per year in 2014). • Brock CEO award for Top Site in Corporation (nationwide) 2014. • Appointed to ExxonMobil Contractors Safety Team - Three-time Chairman once as co-Chairman over four consecutive years. • Won Three consecutive SOI (XOM Safe Operations Index) GOLD Medal 2013, 2014, 2015. • Set Historical Record for Safety improvement for 2012 to 2013 SOI score. • Achieved a Safety record of 5 years / 6.5 Million safe work hours (Zero Recordables) 2012-2017. • Re-negotiated contract rates, commercial language and incentive plans four times during tenure. • Introduction and approval of Ring System scaffold into ExxonMobil Baytown Refinery (Cumulation of 20 years of effort). • Successful enhancement of long standing Site Safety Standard for Scaffolding to align with company and industry practices. • Developed and introduced labor saving solutions and products to increase customer value and productivity. • Managed site effort and response to Hurricane shutdown and recovery effort.

My role here was to support multiple sites in the role of capital projects manager but with emphasis on the overall customer support which included Maintenance, Turnarounds and the Capital Projects group. The span of control included sites in the Lyondell Chemical circuit in Channelview, Laporte, Bayport and Beaumont. • Introduced estimating and tracking methodologies for greater reporting and control of budgets • Successfully drove dramatic improvements of customer acceptance of our site culture and reliability
2001-2006- Project Manager-Valero Refinery Texas City, Tx.
Valero Refinery Texas City, Tx. -(~$25 Million/Yr. P&L ~200+ peak workforce) New contract at Valero's Texas City Refinery. This contract began with a capital project and turnaround effort that then led into a multi-year overall contract that included all specialty crafts (Scaffold, Paint, Insulation, Fire Proofing {light weight, intumescent and placed concrete}, Asbestos and Lead abatement). This was an extension of the corporate directive and business model that was built on establishing multi site bundled services. The business included base maintenance of a Refinery as well as spot capital projects and many turnaround events with all crafts involved. • Oversaw simultaneous operations of Large Turnarounds, Capital Project and Maintenance activities multiple occasions • Developed Scaffold User training program for site and Client employees • Introduced use of scaffolding as shoring to allow for support of operating /out of service equipment during repair actions • Authored substantial changes to customers Scaffold Policy which were presented and accepted at the Corporate level • Technical contribution to company's initial venture into a long term plan purchase of System Scaffold (ring) product • Managed site effort and response to Hurricane shutdown and recovery effort
1997-2001- Site Manager-Phillips 66 Chemical Pasadena, Tx.
Phillips 66 Chemical Pasadena, Tx. - (~$20 Million/Yr. P&L ~150+ peak workforce) New contract at Phillips that included all specialty crafts (Scaffold, Paint, Insulation, Asbestos and Lead abatement). This effort was a new chapter in my career as it involved day to day management and customer relations of a specific site that had multiple crafts and services involved. This site was one of three in a multiple site large contract for Brock and marked the first venture into Multi-site large scale service efforts. The business included base maintenance of a large chemical / plastics site as well as spot capital projects and many turnaround events with all crafts involved. The transition to a Multi-Craft manager included gaining experience and certifications in Painting (NACE level 1 coatings inspector) as well as Supervisor certification in Asbestos abatement. • Site became the "Showcase" site for multi-craft methods and Innovation for the company • Developed scaffold training programs that were included into the Brock Corp Safety and Health manual • Successfully supported scaffold operations that led to gaining market share with other Brock sites and Refinery Customers • Led site through two significant plant events that required recovery and rebuilding of units post event • Planned and executed Scaffold operations for Exxon Offshore platforms as an extension of services supported from site • Interfaced with Phillips Corporate headquarters project located at historic Price Tower building renovation for Estimate/Design/Build of 100% exterior access scaffold in Bartlesville Oklahoma. • Houston Business Roundtable (HBR) Regional excellence award (Price Tower Scaffold Project) • Houston Business Roundtable (HBR) NATIONAL Best in Category (Eagle award) Price Tower Scaffold Project
