Test Lead on the global implementation of QBE’s new Risk and Compliance system, ‘Insight’, from vendor RSA Archer.

Performed the role of Interagency Test Lead for the Sentencing Reforms End-to-End phase of the Criminal Justice Reforms Project. This required managing the end-to-end/integration testing between 4 different Government agencies across 3 different physical locations (Courts/NSW Police/Community Corrections NSW/Juvenile Justice). This involved: - Creation of the End to End Test Plan - Creation the E2E Scenarios including workshopping and fact finding with the agencies and ongoing communication to ensure agency sign off - Investigation, recommendation and implementation of Test Management tool – Jira Software for Cloud with Zephyr Test Management Add-On - Set up of Jira structure and full administration duties throughout the project - Creation of each agency’s test cases - Creation of Dashboard and reporting - Management of the test execution process, including; running daily stand up meetings, setting the day’s test activities, supporting the test teams, defect management/triage activities and communication of progress to all agency stakeholders. Also performed the role of Test Lead on the PARRCS Assessment Version 2 project. This was an upgrade to an internal offender assessment questionnaire and report. In this role, I provided test expertise and advice to improve, guide and manage the testing through to successful implementation.

Test Lead on the IFRS9 project to deliver compliance with new accounting standards for Impairment and Credit Risk via the implementation of the SAS ECL Tool. Duties involved: - Setup of project testing dashboard in JIRA - Creation of daily Test Status reports - Analysis of requirements coverage in preparation for management meetings with external auditors - Organised/lead sign off meetings with the Business of the project’s ‘Interim Tool’ – a tactical tool created to replicate the output of the multiple portfolio models. The tool output was then used to compare to the output of the SAS ECL Tool - Execution of the SAS ECL Tool dataset comparisons with the Interim Tool output datasets - Raising and tracking of defect progress through to resolution - Analysis of Non Functional Requirements, creation of suitable Test Cases and tracking and reporting of progress to management - Various analysis tasks for the Test Manager to assist in release 2 planning and audit preparation

Worked as a Test Analyst as part of the BAU team for the TRAC system. TRAC is a bespoke, .NET feasibility and financial planning system used for all of Stockland’s Residential and Retirement Living property development projects. Worked as a Senior Test Analyst on various major projects as part of the Wrap Test Team, including 2 major enhancements and migrations. • Lead tester for UAT and Regression testing of a financial account opening system. A dynamic browser based form used to open all Macquarie Wrap financial products. Testing included verifying the new functionality on the form and then confirming that accounts were successfully created in all downstream systems:- Siebel, Nova, MIMS, Broker, Composer, Garradin and Wrap Online• UAT and Regression testing of a financial statements upgrade and new online statements functionality for all financial products including Superannuation and Pensions• Testing of an interactive online report that allows advisers and clients to view the performance of their investments in a range of ways as well as a future cash projection• Testing of various other Wrap functions, including; buying and selling of financial and other assets, autocash plans, bulk uploads, online reporting and user access levels. • Compatibility testing to ensure functionality/formatting of the Wrap front end worked across a range of different browsers, O/S and devices. Worked as a Technical Test Analyst for the Core Test Team of the IT Group of the BFS division of Macquarie Bank. Involved in the testing of several technical projects including:• Webmethods and Tower upgrade• Next Generation Desktop – Windows 7 upgrade testing• MAS TD – New Term Deposit functionality added to the core Macquarie ‘Pivot’ system. Involved working alongside another of the Bank’s businesses, MAS.• Various other smaller projects which involved understanding technical and business requirements, liasing with various members of the Bank, writing test cases, execution and raising of defects and assisting in their timely resolution, reporting to management• Involved in system, regression and integration testing• Also used Unix – running nightlies, setting up/interrogating files, SQL using DBArtisan, Quality Centre, Jira.

Part of a large team to assist with the business system testing, UAT and integration testing of the ALPHA system for the Norwich Union/Aviva Heritage Migration project. Responsible for:• the following areas of new functionality; Inbound Communications, Collections & Arrears and Market Value Adjustment as well as a number of Change Requests and smaller areas of functionality• Analysing Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specification Documents to become the area subject matter expert• Liaising with 3rd Party vendors as part of Inbound Communications testing• Preparing data, writing and executing test scripts (originally in T-Plan and more recently in Quality Centre) and interrogating results both on the front end and via the database using Q+E• Also responsible for the 3 system test environments. This involves scheduling and running batches via Reflections 14 (UNIX), investigating cycle aborts, requesting new databases and database restores when required.• In this high pressure project I have been required to cope with constantly changing requirements, plans and timescales.

Worked as a Test Analyst as part of a large team to assist with the functional testing of CHIPS (Companies House Information Processing System). The role required long hours and weekend working, regularly working over 50 hours per week. The role involved:• Test lead for three functional areas; Capital, Resolutions and Multi-Cases• Secondary tester for a further two areas; Bulk Outputs (using Unix) and Enquiries, plus assisting in other areas when necessary• Analysing requirements (in Caliber) to create numerous test scripts in Mercury TestDirector• Prepare data, execute scripts and interrogate results both on the front end and via the database using TOAD• Provide management with regular test progress reports• For the final 3 months I worked on the Electronic Filing testing, which involved creating and sending test files via Unix into CHIPS and validating the outputAfter the initial 3 month contract, I was extended six times.

Worked as a Test Analyst on two projects under the Aspire programme for Her Majesty’s Revenues and Customs. Data Correction teamThe Data Correction project aimed to align the mismatched data between two systems, Computerisation Of PAYE (COPs) and Frameworks. I was responsible for the testing of a web based exceptions browser which acted as the output for any errors encountered during the automated data alignment processes. Duties involved:• Reviewing business specification and technical documentation• Creation of the Exceptions Browser High Level Test Plan• Creation of test scripts in Rational Test Manager• Assisting in the execution of batch jobs using MaestroTPSS, TPVSThe Pensions Simplification Service project aims to streamline pension scheme administration and maintenance, and provide a consistent single gateway for registration and maintenance of common information of all new schemes. The Third Party Validation Service (TPVS) enables Third Parties to confirm that their submissions conform to the standards defined by HMRC. Duties involved:• Analysing XML structure from Business Validation Rule documents • Creating Test XML and Test Specification using MS Access macros• Test Data specification and preparation• Functional System Testing and Inter System Testing• Use of the following tools: Rational Test Manager, ClearQuest and ClearCase, XMLSpy, Oracle 9.2, DBVisualiser, Hummingbird, SQL.

Worked as a Test Analyst as part of a team to assist with the infrastructure testing of a major new Desktop deployment and infrastructure upgrade. In this challenging role, duties involved:• Developed the automated regression pack using Mercury WinRunner. Responsible for the creation, execution and maintenance of the scripts (12 months)• Interviewing ‘Knowledge Experts’ to ascertain testing requirements• Write test requirement documentation• Develop the required manual scripts in Mercury TestDirector• Conduct both manual and automated test execution• Provide regular updates to the Test Manager including the production of Test Completion Reports• Attended weekly Test Board and Defect meetings on Test Managers behalf in his absence. In these instances, this also involved producing the Weekly Test Progress and Defect Reports.

Assigned as a Test Consultant during an implementation of SAP for one of Europe’s largest Car Leasing organisations. The role involved:• Liaising with Business Analysts and reviewing documentation to gather test scenarios• Create, schedule and execute scripts using Mercury TestDirector• Provide assistance during the UAT phase and monitor and track defects through their lifecycle• Provide management with regular testing progress updates.

Worked as a Test Analyst to assist with the Management Information (MI) testing requirements for a new business Loans project. Duties involved:• Assist with the development of the MI Test Plan• Assist with the development of the overall test schedule• Develop the required scripts in Mercury TestDirector• Provide consultancy and advice during the test execution phase• Conduct test execution• Provide regular updates to the MI Project Manager and the UAT Test Manager.

Employed on 3 occasions between Feb 2002 and Oct 2003.My first role involved working within a team to assist in system, integration and interface tests of a web-based cost modelling application. Responsible for:• Assisting in preparing test plans and schedules for each stage of testing• Creating test scripts in Mercury TestDirector using business specifications• Setting up and maintaining test data in the backend database (Unix)• Creating and amending XML messages that were sent between the systems. I was part of a large team of consultants from various companies, and was quickly able to build up good working relationships with the team and with supporting staff.I was later asked to return to work with the business as part of a new team involved in the system and integration testing of a different planning and modelling application. My duties involved:• Writing test specifications• Creation and execution of test scripts in Mercury TestDirector• Chasing of defects for prompt resolution.I was later asked to return a second time to create and assist in executing a further set of test scripts for the modelling application.

Assigned as Test Consultant during the implementation of an industry-specific product called ALIS, which would improve the efficiency of pension’s administration for the client.• Required to quickly master the business processes which would be supported by the new system• Validate test data• Design and execute test scripts. I was often required to work long and unsociable hours, including weekends, due to the pressurised timescales which had been determined for the project.
