● Coordinate staff series, miniplex rentals, MMU classes and events, making sure that MMU hasappropriate and adequate time for classes, while being the main point of contact for customers.Updating all events in the miniplex calendar accordingly.● Responsible for creating and managing the event calendar on both the website and in print.● Plan out the year for conventions.● Coordinate with Marketing to develop promotion strategy, design booth for pop ups and conventions,create social media for events, and to track advertising at events, conventions and popups.● Coordinate conventions that include and are not limited to securing booths, arranging advertising,updating calendars, arranging additional staff.● Coordinate other events such as pop-ups, meet and greets, lectures and talks, book and movielaunches, student film festivals, 48 hour screenings, and special themed events.● In addition to coordination and logistics, act as the on-site representative for pop ups, conventions,and other events unless otherwise assigned by the Senior Director, Development & Engagement.● Coordinate in-store filming and development sessions.● Coordinate with special guests and programmers to facilitate signings and meet and greets, both atHollywood Theatre and Movie Madness.● Coordinate with the Senior Director, Development & Engagement to develop relationships with otherorganizations to create and coordinate events both at Movie Madness and their respective locations.● Work with Accounting regarding budget and to monitor expenses.● Manage the Miniplex by overseeing events, collecting & reserving titles, updating Agile for staff seriesticketing, reviewing & troubleshooting technology, coordinating with MMU Manager, and representingMovie Madness staff on the Miniplex Committee.
