I'm a standout creator of political campaign newsletters, flyers, video, social media adverts and supporting digital content, and of supporter media/comms including training, digital infrastructure, and fundraising comms; and an accomplished strategist and facilitator.I'm available flexibly by the day for political consultancy.After 8 years working full-time in local government management, I've retrained with a GradDip in Psychology and an MA in Political Psychology, and spent 4½ years as an unpaid organiser central to Bournemouth Green Party's climb from one BCP councillor before 2019 to six after 2023. I've also been a sessional trainer and board member in the broad peace movement.My specialist skills are ones that radical political movements everywhere would benefit from - but rarely have resources to offer specialist salaries for. I'm re-entering the paid workforce after my Masters as self-employed rather than employed. (I have an easy-come-easy-go 'second job' freelance which fills in; I am now available for political consultancy work by the day, at around a week's notice or less.)In 2017, I made BBC Trending with a pop-up indie #StopTheTories Facebook advertising and fundraising project for GE17. I retain from that a Facebook page with over 10,000 followers, and ideas to resurrect an indie anti-Tory PAC for GE24 on a larger pro scale.I've volunteered extensively in LGBTQ community organising and content. My background spans external and internal (strategic) comms, community facilitation and development, research, video production, social advertising, crowdfunding, website concept and basic design, newsletters, journalism, handbooks and intranets, both sides of funding bids, consultation, event management, boots-on-the-ground and digital organising... and training materials and workshops.From my psych and PolPsych studies, I'm passionate more broadly about organisational development of campaign supporters at every level of the pyramid, influenced by Sanders/Obama Big Organising principles, less hierarchical Occupy/XR self-organising systems, and Hahrie Han's work.
