Taught Applied Project Management, an HDR developed 3-day course to mimic PMP certification for Senior Project Managers within HDR.•SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER: Managed large-scale multi-disciplinary highway and civil engineering projects. Led work-sharing efforts with multiple HDR offices to meet schedule and expertise requirements. Managed prime contracts with multiple subconsultants for both public and private sector clients.

Recent experience:o West Dowling Road – Lead Engineer/Project Manager. $47M project included 1.2 miles of new roadway (four-lanes) with a 200-foot single-span steel bridge over a local street, and double railroad tracks. As lead project manager, and prime contractor, oversaw all design communication and coordination efforts with multiple government agencies, and 10 subcontractors. Signed final plans in Fall 2013, and supported construction efforts through 2015. Road opened to traffic in November, 2015. Led the effort to certify the project under Greenroads.org as the first sustainable transportation project in Alaska.o Moose Creek Realignment – Lead Engineer/Project Manager. $37M project included realigning 3 miles of the Glenn Highway through mountainous terrain adjacent to the Matanuska River valley. Project includes 700-foot long, 75-foot tall bridge over Moose Creek. • CONSTRUCTION SERVICES MANAGER: Laboratory manager of small (13 person) geotechnical / materials testing consulting engineering firm. Responsible for up to eight inspectors, laboratory, and testing technicians evaluating materials for new construction compliant with applicable codes and ASTM/AASHTO specifications.

FORENSIC ENGINEER: Conducted root cause analysis to complete forensic investigations of accidents ranging from machine failures, to construction defects, to vehicular crashes. Provided final reports and assisted expert witness testimony for both Lawyers and Insurance clients. Performed detailed accident investigations of vehicular crashes involving automobiles, tractor-trailers, bicycles and pedestrians. Developed expertise using momentum bases computer simulation software to model vehicle motion during accidents and incorporated this motion to animation software for courtroom use.

Worked directly on Hydrocracker, and Hydrogen Plant, with indirect work on Hydrotreater and Platinum Reformer. Engineered the use of LOKrings in the piping and installation of a ThermoJet Oil Purifier for a recycle compressor in the Hydrocracker.
