Some use of scripting is required to achieve the desired outcome of a realistic looking terrain that is complete with infrastructure such as road networks, hydrology, vegetation cover, buildings.The role is extremely busy, challenging, exciting, and a lot of satisfaction is gained when seeing the soldiers use the VBS simulation scenarios created on the terrains produced, in a way that enhances the warfighting skills, in a safe, controlled, simulated environment. I oversee the NZ Army individual training courses schedule. This schedule is planned for 18 - 24 months in the future in outline and 6 - 12 months in detail. I am responsible for updating on a daily basis, changes to the schedule. I also analyse the impact on other activities should course dates change. I am also responsible for maintaining the key resources support matrix to ensure the courses are resourced with these key resources, & the courses are successfully conducted with these resources.
