How I Can Help You: I deliver a practical, experienced, no non-sense approach to IT projects and training. I supported one of the largest SSA offices in the Chicago region, along with five others. I’ve completed server replacements in American embassies in Europe and the Middle East. I created, documented and implemented government credentialling for 680 employees. I’ve led workstation replacement teams on sites with 600+ machines. I’m a reliable worker with no surprises. How I Approach Jobs: Guiding Principle: Make the Customer Happy. When running a project, I call the customer ahead of time to verify details, discuss the job and avert problems. I show up early and review the scope of the work, consulting with leads about any issues. Complete the job, keeping the customer appraised as needed. Review the work, get signoffs, and complete backend documentation. Skills: My core skills are in Information Technology, Project Management, and Training. IT: Managed users and equipment in Active Directory environment. Ensured proper installation and functioning of servers, laptops, copiers, VOIP phones, and related hardware. First line of troubleshooting for users in eight offices for account, program, and hardware issues. Project Management: I have led a team of three people to replace 600 workstations over the course of three weekends. I replaced an 8-server system with related UPS and hardware over the course of an evening. I have worked solo and on teams to relocate IT equipment for small to large offices. Instruction: Working with regional office teams, I developed and delivered training to team members new to the Area System Coordinator role. Working with a co-worker, developed and rolled out training and hardware to HSPD-12 credential 680 employees before the deadline. I trained new riders in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation rider course at Northern KY University. Students who successfully completed the course qualified for a full motorcycle endorsement on their KY driver’s license. How to Contact Me: If you need help from someone with broad IT experience or training development and delivery proficiency, reach out to me at IT.Chris.Katzer@gmail.com
