• Lead and support four direct reports and 14 indirect reports who manage 1,200 hotel renovation throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.• Develop policies and procedures for the department to meet the division’s strategic objectives and to assist PIP Managers in maintaining designs and standards that meet guest expectations in all brands and products within the assigned brands. • Work across the company with internal partners in Franchise Performance Support, Brand, and Development to support business goals and objectives.

At IHG I manage a team that is responsible for deploying the PIP process to applicable hotels, consulting with hotel management on construction and property improvements, and documenting hotel performance vs. their individual plan. Manage the Property Improvement Plans (PIP) process and documentation for the IHG Holiday Inn Express brand. Work directly with Senior Brand leaders to understand specific requirements that will ultimately drive the design and/or renovation for the Holiday Inn Express brand. Review correspondence from staff to franchisees, render decisions on milestone extensions and other requests of franchisees, monitor and control the schedules of property visits, train new Manager of Property Improvements, formulate design plans that factor technology investments and risks while providing value to the company by improving business processes and eliminating unnecessary complexities and transition a design into a working solution. Enforce standards with franchisees, and serve as first level of appeal above the Managers of Property Improvements. And develop key relationships with Brand Leaders educating them on the design process, playing a key role within the organization, not only in terms of ensuring the successful execution of the Brand vision but also in terms of actively participating in new business development and franchisee management.

At IHG I manage renovation and new construction projects for Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels throughout the Midwestern United States. I provide guidance in design, life safety, ADA, scheduling, and products for hotel owners and contractors while upholding the brand standards set in place by IHG and the Holiday Inn Brand Family.
