I represent governmental entities, corporate entities, and insurance companies and their insureds in litigated matters and also advise those entities how to avoid litigation. My practice focuses on the defense of premises liability, governmental liability, motor vehicle, and other tort and commercial claims in Mississippi and Alabama. I have tried numerous cases to successful jury verdicts in both states. I also specialize in governmental law by serving as general counsel for the City of Starkville, Mississippi, and I serve as corporate counsel to various businesses and individuals in North Mississippi. I am rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, named a Mid-South “Rising Star” in Super Lawyer magazine, and am a Fellow of the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar.
