The primary duties whilst undertaking this role were:- Design, specification and preparation of bills of quantities for Mechanical engineering services.- Closely involved in a wide range of projects including domestic, commercial and industrial installations in both the private and public sectors. - Providing Local Authority, Health Care and private clients with professional and technical advice with respect to all aspects of Mechanical engineering services including design, operation and maintenance, budget costing and current regulations and best practice guidance.- Assisting in the business development of the company including input to fee offers and complying with Quality Assurance procedures.- Scheduling and managing the day to day Mechanical engineering services resources to suit workloads and timescales.- Developing and undertaking option appraisals with regards to Mechanical engineering services for a range of clients with differing needs and agendas.- Production of Energy Performance Certificates (iSBEM) for Building Warrant requirements.- Providing low carbon, energy efficiency and control advice with respect to Mechanical engineering services, their design, equipment and fuels.

The primary duties whilst undertaking this role were:- Design, specification and preparation of bills of quantities for Mechanical engineering services in association with the Council’s property portfolio and current housing stock.- Providing professional and technical advice and information on all aspects of Mechanical services; design, operation and maintenance in buildings, in line with the Council’s policies.- Providing professional and technical advice on energy efficiency and control in respect of buildings, design, equipment and fuel.- Undertaking iSBEM calculations for Building Warrant purposes, carrying out surveys of domestic and non-domestic buildings and production of Energy Performance Certificates.- Developing and promoting new energy sources and energy reducing technologies.

The primary duties whilst undertaking this role were:- Preparation of specifications and all related tender documentation for a range of engineering maintenance works.- Carrying out energy and condition surveys and scrutinising the data recorded.- Reporting on the progression and performance of service contracts and related works.- Assisting in ensuring that engineering maintenance requests are processed appropriately, invoiced and authorised for payment.- Assisting the Maintenance Officer (Engineering) to prepare and introduce policies and procedures and systems associated with engineering maintenance in strict compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
