Leading the carve-out and establishment of InfraCo (Telstra’s new digital infrastructure business valued at $A30bn) as a standalone operating business with all necessary functions and capabilities, implementing the arrangements between InfraCo and rest of Telstra, and the growth plan and options to maximise value of the infrastructure.In 2021 I led the highly successful sale of a 49% stake in Amplitel (InfraCo Towers) to a consortium led by the Future Fund (total transaction value $5.9bn, 28X EBITDA).Day to day I led a large team (and an even larger indirect workforce) focused on the carve-out and establishment of the new business; pricing; business & operational planning; capital investment; transformation, business improvement & cost-out; business operations; workforce strategy; organisational & cultural change; data analytics & reporting; risk & compliance; comms & external stakeholder relations; strategy, M&A and corporate development.

Head of strategy and transformation for the Telstra group. Developed and executed Telstra’s corporate strategy across its entire portfolio. Led major initiatives for the Telstra group, including Asian expansion, developing and launching Telstra’s T22 strategy and transformation program (2018) and the $A3bn strategic tech investment in the core (2016).

Sensis was owned 70% by private equity (Platinum Equity) and 30% by Telstra until 2021 when it was sold to Thryv. Sensis (now rebranded as Thryv) is Australia's leading Directory and Digital Marketing Services organisation that specialises in helping small to medium businesses with their marketing needs.

Member of the Chief Strategy Officers Group (CSOG) at the GSMA, which brings together the Chief Strategy Officers of the 25 largest and most influential telecom operators from across the world to set out a long-term vision for the industry and develop an industry response to topics of strategic importance for operators globally.

Led all major M&A, corporate finance and strategic initiatives. Developed and launched “Fairfax of the Future” major transformation program (2012). Led the A$850m IPO of Trade Me on the ASX/NZX (2011) and a A$4.5bn M&A program.
