Our mission is to make home selling quick and easy, and we are at the center of Zillow’s efforts to build groundbreaking products that will be the future of home selling. We are building Zillow Instant Offers, a new home-selling option we're testing in several markets.

Full stack development of Zillow Digs using MSSQL, Python, Elasticsearch, mongodb, and React.

- Led team in planning, scoping, developing, testing and productizing new features, tools, frameworks, infrastructure, and tests. Successfully deployed 15 major product releases to millions of systems.- Shortened release cycle by 25%, improved scrum teams ability to handle change, and delivered value to customers 4x quicker by establishing a continuous integration, testing and deployment system.- Architected and implemented a plugin interface enabling vendors to create plugins that work with our product. Wrote SDK’s in C, C++, and C#, increasing developer productivity and adoption. - Implemented WAMP websocket subprotocol.- Quickly mastered new domains (TCP/IP stack, LWIP) to define and single-handedly develop a reliable, performant proxy bypass component enabling our product to work behind proxy networks.- Found, identified, and fixed over 100 memory leaks and other difficult bugs. Improved automated tests, failure reporting, and drove team adoption of C++11 features and best practices to improve code quality.- Used WebRTC to create real-time peer to peer communication.- Developed a test scheduling, execution, and reporting service, enabling the team to rapidly validate code changes and provide product health and risk assessment to upper management and external teams.- Implemented real-time communication with test machines using SignalR. Created responsive UI using knockout.js and Bootstrap. Exposed functionality as a REST service and integrated with CI system.- Expanded the validation role to impact the entire development team. Delivered the architecture and implementation of key validation frameworks and tools, enabling the team to test complicated features and meet critical deliverables.- Exposed C# desktop application as a web service. Wrote SPA using AngularJS to consume the web service. - Worked directly with external teams and companies to integrate our product in their software solutions.

- Architected and developed a testing framework to replace legacy system, enabling multiple teams to rapidly develop and execute 1000’s of tests with significantly less development effort. Led team of 5 in refactoring legacy tests to utilize new framework, resulting in test code reduction of 10x and improved test reliability.- Validated code changes to Intel’s Rapid Storage Technology storage driver. Developed tests in C# and C++, improved test coverage, and filled test holes. - Developed 60 new tests to validate the security of the Windows storport driver interface and perform security and threat analysis. Utilized interop marshaling to perform low level IOCTL calls from C#.

- Researched, designed, built, and tested an embedded system to be used in next generation diabetes monitors. Utilized microcontrollers, integrated circuit chips, and I2C / SPI protocols in the design.- Conducted experiments to test and improve device capability. Designed and fabricated custom printed circuit board and presented a functional prototype at ASU research symposium.
