I began my career as a litigator at the New York State Attorney General's Office, representing the Office of Mental Health in retention hearings under Article 730 of the New York Criminal Procedure Law. I also assisted in habeas corpus hearings and investigations of civilian complaints.Since then, I have shifted to client-focused representation, assisting indigent defendants navigate the criminal justice system in Monroe and Wayne Counties.I have over five years of experience as a trial attorney and have handled jury and bench trials for felonies and misdemeanors, along with evidentiary hearings. Additionally, I have written and argued hundreds of motions throughout the trial-level courts of Monroe and Wayne Counties.I have dedicated myself to public service and hope to spend my career serving my community and advocating for positive change within a fractured legal system.
