Eisenhower (IKE), which deployed with 4,500 Sailors and 61 aircraft.• I solve problems every day by crafting the operational schedule that allows our team to execute all required tasking from higher authorities while also fulfilling training and maintenance requirements for 20 shipboard departments. • I lead my peers by coordinating required operations, training, and maintenance behind the scenes to produce a coherent and reliable schedule, eliminate stovepiping, and reduce time wasted in large-group meetings.• When IKE was tasked with a massive multi-ship Ammunition Crossdeck that involved moving over 2,500 pieces of ammunition, I took charge and voluntarily led planning efforts for the four ships involved, ensuring a potentially chaotic mission was executed safely and efficiently.• One of my collateral duties is project manager for the renovation of shipboard living spaces. In that capacity, I identified and rectified resource shortfalls early on to ensure high-visibility maintenance would get done correctly and on schedule during IKE’s time in the shipyard.• When the IKE Strike Group was confronted with a critical shortage of key supplies in the logistically remote Red Sea while facing an uncertain schedule, I developed the optimal course of action with branch plans and decision points to ensure IKE maintained combat readiness.

Diplomatic representative of the United States Navy to Germany. Trusted advisor to senior U.S. Government officials regarding German national security developments and maritime defense issues.• As the U.S. Defense Attache Office (USDAO) Berlin emerged from the pandemic, I was hand-picked by the U.S. Senior Defense Official in Germany to develop and supervise a coordinated plan that employed our limited resources to reinvigorate our office’s network in order to fulfill our mandate as the DOD’s experts on all things Germany. My efforts set USDAO Berlin up to be a critical information conduit during the outbreak of war in Ukraine.• As the owner of USDAO Berlin's Cyber portfolio, I led an inter-agency effort to ensure that U.S. Mission Germany’s goals in the cyber policy realm were properly aligned with those of the U.S. Government writ large.• Constantly striving for self-improvement, I learned more every day in order to provide expert advice regarding Germany’s national security policy and military capabilities to dozens of visiting U.S. Senators, Congressional Representatives, Congressional staff delegates, DOD Senior Executives, and Three- and Four-Star Admirals and Generals.

I led a 32-person department and managed a $780,000 flight hour budget to ensure our squadron executed all fleet tasking while continuing to train and develop the next generation of naval aviators. During a period of reduced personnel and funding, I personally analyzed years of internal flight data in novel ways to make informed decisions about my command's operational tempo and training plan.

As Safety Officer, I oversaw the squadron's Risk Management program and ensured the mishap-free completion of a seven-month deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and Arabian Gulf.As Administration Officer, I led the teams that oversaw pay and evaluations for 250 squadron personnel.

I led a 35-person Detachment that used its two helicopters to satisfy logistics requirements for the USS George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group on deployment. When tasked with embarking our detachment aboard a supply ship manned by civilian mariners with whom we had never worked before, I reached out early and built the bridges that broke down cultural barriers and ensured our two distinct units operated as one team.

I managed the daily schedule for an Admiral who led 24 subordinate commands and over 10,000 Sailors.

As a passionate teacher, I was recognized as my command's Instructor Pilot of the Year for my outstanding airborne tutelage of the next generation of naval aviators.As the squadron's Assistant Operations Officer, I formulated the weekly flight schedule for our squadron consisting of 900 personnel, 32 aircraft, and 125 students.

Competing against 175 fellow junior officers, I was recognized as the Helicopter Sea Combat Wing Pacific Pilot of the Year in 2010.
