I have returned to my previous role of Senior Branch Manager for Nationwide Building Society after recently finishing my secondment as a Local Director, where I was responsible for 9 branches in the Derbyshire Area.As Senior Branch Manager in Derby, I lead Nationwide’s busiest and largest branch location. Here I am responsible for a branch team of 40 people including a service team, consultant team and management team. I am also responsible for the other branches around Derby - Allenton, Borrowash and Mickleover branches where I look at how we can work collaboratively together to support my teams and our members.I have worked through a variety of roles within Nationwide and previously The Derbyshire Building Society, from customer services, to sales roles and a variety of leadership positions.In all of my locations the well-being, development and engagement of my teams are a number one priority, alongside delivering exceptional service and a strong commercial performance. As a Senior Branch Manager I support on regional project work in The North Region helping to drive a wider service and commercial agenda for the benefit of our members. This has also led to involvement in National projects.Supporting and being involved in the local community is another area I am passionate about, regularly helping to support and raise money for local charities such as the Derby Children’s Hospital. I also sit on the board for the local BID group - Saint Peters Quarter BID in Derby. This is a great way of supporting and influencing local projects and improvements in the city centre.
