Target Corporation is an American big box department store chain headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is the eighth largest retailer in the United States.I’ve spent my entire career here and was promoted to Executive Team Leader in 2016, where I now have a staff of 180 and responsibility for multiple stores.It’s my responsibility to drive store profitability by partnering with internal management and external law enforcement divisions to investigate and resolve theft, recover merchandise, facilitate trainings, and implement needed policies and procedures.I’ve led in closed theft investigations twice and have been named MVP on 3 occasions. I also won the “District Resource Award” for 2018.When the pandemic hit, we had to shift our mindset to heath and safety. We changed routines, developed proactive measures to decrease external incidents including mask refusal, and increased our parking lot safety for store pickups. I also ensured all of our team members had the proper PPE.I’ve partnered with law enforcement agencies on multiple occasions, including participating in closing 2 large fencing operations that led to recovering over $1 million in stolen goods.

I was promoted to Team Leader where I had responsibility for security operations for a single location, which included theft investigation and resolution, merchandise recovery, and training store personnel on best practices.
