Growing up in West Africa, working on a PEI fishing boat, and being challenged in the Canadian infantry are three key early-life experiences that have done much to shape who I am today.My passion and strength is in leadership and the "people" side of business. By getting the "people" aspect of the business right in relatively short order, all other business objectives and targets fall into place. With a strong leadership education and background provided through the Canadian military, I was able to acquire progressively senior leadership experience spread over multiple provinces with government, non-profit, and private healthcare organizations. Moving outside of healthcare business, I am now engaged with a highly talented team in taking Commissionaires BC to new levels of competitiveness within the security industry.My education consists of a Masters of Health Studies (MHS) & Leadership, after having acquired various credentials in business administration, human resources, and health services. Beyond that, I acquired my Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation through the Canadian College of Health Leaders. My goals are rooted in diversifying my experience by acquiring leadership positions with greater levels of responsibility over time. This career journey has presently taken me away from healthcare, but a consistency remains with my success in taking service-based companies into new and elevated levels of performance.
