Chris has over thirty years oil and gas industry experience and is currently the Group Director for Technology and Commercial Innovation. In this role he is responsible for driving future wealth creation through the identification and implementation of new technology/partnerships and new commercial models. Previously he was the Senior Vice President for Hydrocarbons Subsectors and Business Lines for WorleyParsons. In this role he was responsible for developing and managing the product lines of WorleyParsons business. In addition he held the role of Global Hydrocarbons Director for Select, the specialist front end division of WorleyParsons which provides advice to clients on project viability, assessment and selection. In this role Chris was responsible for managing all front end activity in the Hydrocarbons sector utilising WorleyParsons global network of specialist Select centres in Perth, Melbourne, London, Singapore, Houston, Calgary, Los Angeles and Abu Dhabi. Within WorleyParsons he has previously held a number of positions including Director of LNG and FLNG and General Manager of Process and Technology. He has spent over ten years in the LNG industry working on projects ranging from conceptual, first of a kind, studies on floating and GBS based LNG, through to revamping of existing LNG plants and development of conventional large scale grass roots facilities. Chris is a process engineer by background with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Birmingham University in the UK. As well as his LNG and FLNG experience he has worked extensively in the offshore, petrochemical and gas processing industries, both in Australia and the UK.
