Responsible for developing new business for the Wall's Pastry brand and Own Label Pastry in the top 4 major retailers.Secured new business in the major multiples Asda, Sainsbury's and The Co-operative for the Wall's Pastry and Mattessons Fridge Raiders meat snacking brand. Grew the business in Asda +23% in 2011/12.

• Managed the successful launch of chilled soups into Sainsbury’s as a new supplier in January 2009, valued at £2.5m.Lead contact for the preparation of a joint business plan for soups for presentation in 2009 fiscal. • Developed a commercial proposition to capture Sainsbury’s chilled pasta sauce business and supported by category insight for September 2009, valued at £2.5m. • Delivered new foodservice soup business from Brakes in September 2009, valued at £1.2m. • Established contacts with key retailers including discounters in order to secure new branded business which includes ‘Donegal Catch’ fishcakes and ‘Tuck-In’ ready meals for 2009.• In discussions with the Metro Group in Europe for the first time in order to deliver a range of chilled ready meals and soups as a first stage by September 2009. • Developed contingency plans in order to broaden the customer base and distribution channel where appropriate at the manufacturing sites.

- Responsible for the business growth of a leading supplier of ambient organic and natural snacks to the major multiples, health food trade, foodservice and export customers.- Achieved sales growth of a branded cereal bar supported by a national media and PR campaign.- Executed a major cost increase to all customers to recover margin owing to rising raw material prices.- Implemented in conjunction with an external systems consultant, a fully integrated sales forecasting model delivering greater cross-functional management controls.
